More about Alexandra

Alexandra graduated as a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Technology and Building Construction from the School of Building Construction of Barcelona in 1998.

Alexandra has considerable experience in the preparation of technical drawings for planning applications, particularly elevations and building layouts.  She prepares outline tender packages, specifications and construction detailing in projects, liaises with consultant architects and sub-consulting engineers on detailed design in the preparation of complex planning applications and oversees the final preparation of drawings for submission to planning applications and appeals.

Town Planner

More about James

James has 23 years’ experience in Planning, including 19 years at Harris Lamb, which is part of the Malcolm Scott Consultants.  He advises a range of clients on development control and Development Plan matters.

James is involved on a wide variety of employment, garden centres, farm shops, residential and mixed use planning applications, overseeing their progress through the planning application process as well as undertaking appraisals of development opportunities for a range of clients regarding the potential of sites.

Malcolm Scotts sister company Harris Lamb, has a commercially focussed ecology team that supports clients through all stages of the development lifecycle. We can support you from the early stages of your scheme, from land promotion and early ecological constraints and biodiversity offsetting implications, identifying ecological risks and programming protected species surveys.

We produce ecological assessments to accompany planning applications through to discharging ecological planning conditions, managing ecological licensing and providing Ecological Clerk of Works services post consent.

Building Surveyor

More about Paul

Paul is the Director heading up the Malcolm Scott and Harris Lamb Building Consultancy Department since 2009 and has grown the department to its current size. Paul is a Chartered Building Surveyor, with over 20 years experience, and has considerable experience over many years in practice acting on behalf of a wide range of clients providing construction and property solutions on the full range of properties and sites.

He acts as a Project Manager for Construction and Development Projects in a variety of sectors, with a track record of delivering scheme within budget and timeframe.
